The Wine Buff Selection Cuvee Ton St Emilion Grand Cru 2017

The special Cuvees in The Wine Buff Selection range, are made in honour of people who helped us in our journey since we opened our first shop in Limerick back in 2000.

The Cuvee "Ton" is in memory of our good friend Ton Wouters from Holland, who first met Paddy when he was working in wine shop in St Emilion back in 1989. Ton was a serious collector of Bordeaux wines and visited St Emilion at least twice every year, we have many fond memories of sharing, discussing and comparing his wines during his frequent visits.

Ton was delighted in helping us when we first started tasting samples and visiting vineyards with Paddy.

A wine of incredible aromatic concentration, notes of black fruits, menthol aromas and supported by elegant woodiness. The tannins are firm. An exceptional wine, suitable for aging for more than 10 years.
