Perla Maris (pearl of the sea) is 100% Verdejo. The grape derives its name from the green characteristic of the skin. The mature grapes are harvested mid-September, once in the winery the grapes are lightly crushed by their own gravity and this juice is used for making the wine.
Tasting Notes: The wine has a straw yellow colour with hues of green. A freshness of white flowers, with aromas of peach, apricot and a hint of spice. This is a medium bodied white with great balance and vibrant fruit. The mouth feel is fresh, with zesty fruit, good acidity that carries through to the finish.
