Domaine La Gravette Chardonnay 2021

A family run vineyard located in the south of Minervois which is run by the Orosquette family who have generations of vine growing experience. The vineyards overlook the canal de midi and agriculture raisonnee is the rule of the property. It was common sense before it became a philosophy. The man who lives on his land and breathes it every day, can feel the life in it. 

The owner Jean-Francois not only has a passion for wine but also a passion for driving, in 1988 he competed in the Paris-Dakar rally and in order to promote his new wines he brought along a couple of bottles to do a tasting on the finish line in Dakar....however, with the city of Dakar in sight the trusted Toyota seriously overheated and with no water available, the only option was a blend of chardonnay and sauvignon blanc in the radiator, which after some protest from the engine saw him safetly over the line. 

Rich white wine, with a refreshing fruity aroma, peach tones and creamy texture you get from the Chardonnay grapes.
