Vidal del Saz is a family owned winery in the La Mancha region of Spain, for years they have been making lively fruit driven wines that convey the character of their lands, obtaining many silver recommendations and more recently their “Roble” has been awarded the gold standard at the prestigious competition “Tierra del Quijote”. This competition is unique is Spain as the panel is made up of hundreds of experts and wine tasters and receiving gold is a major achievement.
Tasting Notes: Intense cherry red with hints of violet, attractive and bright. The aroma is dominated with ripe red fruit, blackberry and liquorice. Slight spiciness and the oak aging of 4 months creates a well-integrated wine. A meaty taste, well-structured red fruit, with a slight hint of sour cherry and a persistent intense finish.
