The Wine Buff Selection St Emilion Grand Cru 2016

The Château Petit Fombrauge vineyard is located on the clay-limestone plateau of St Emilion.  The selection of old vines, the care taken in the harvest and the blending with new oak barrels makes this wine exceptional, suitable for aging for many years. We have named this special batch of wine "Cuvee Ton" in memory of our good friend Ton Wouters who was one of our tasters in the Wine Buff. Chateau Petit Fombrauge was always a personal favourite of Ton's and we spent many an enjoyable evening discussing, tasting and comparing the wines of St Emilion.
