Montaribaldi Barbaresco Palazzina 2020
Aged for about 20 months in 225L used barriques and new 2500L oak barrels. The wine is bottled 2 years after harvest and spends at least another 6 months in the Montaribaldi cellars before release.
The nose has a hint of violets, sour cherry and aromas of cocoa, vanilla and mint from the maturation of the oak. On the palate, the wine is full bodied but with lighter tannins than the other Barberesco's of Montaribaldi. Very refined with underlying menthol and truffle.
